After being diagnosed with Breast Cancer, 45 year old patient from San Diego underwent a double mastectomy. Directly following her mastectomy, Dr. Mofid performed bilateral breast reconstruction with tissue expanders and veritas bovine pericardium. A few months later, Dr. Mofid removed her tissue expander and continued her surgery process with the placement of bilateral silicone breast implants. To complete her reconstruction, three months later Dr. Mofid created nipples with skate flaps, skin grafts from her groin crease.
