Restylane is used to add volume and smoothness to your skin, restoring the skin’s volume, creating softness and revitalizing your appearance. Youthful skin is rich in hyaluronic acid; as we age the amount of hyaluronic acid disperses leaving our skin looking worn out and fatigued. Restylane gels work by adding to your skin’s own stocks of hyaluronic acid, directly adding volume to either soften the signs of aging or enhance your features. Hyaluronic fillers may last from several months to over a year but are not permanent. There is little or no down time with procedures and it requires no testing before hand.
Juvéderm™ is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. Dr. Mofid eases Juvéderm™ under the skin to instantly restore your skin’s volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, like your “Smile Lines”, “Marionette lines”, “Vertical Lip Lines”, and “Chin Area Wrinkles”. Hyaluronic fillers may last from several months to over a year but are not permanent. There is little or no down time with procedures and it requires no testing before hand.
Radiesse® dermal filler is made up of calcium-based microspheres suspended in a water-based gel, and is injected into the skin through a simple and minimally invasive procedure. It can restore a healthy, youthful appearance, enhance your existing features, help you defy age and gravity, and increase your confidence. Radiesse® works with your own body in a remarkable way. When injected, it immediately adds volume to contour, and beautify facial features. It starts a process called collagenesis, stimulating your body to produce new collagen, encouraging collagen to grow in the areas it is needed. Radiesse® actually helps your body create its own naturally looking younger skin. Radiesse® lasts up to a year, with little or no down time.

HA delivers nutrients to the skin and helps the skin retain its natural moisture and softness. This injectable filler adds volume lost to aging in the cheek area to create a better contour and a subtle lift to the mid face.

The HA is BELOTERO BALANCE is specifically formulated in a proprietary process to create a uniquely smooth and cohesive gel. This injectable gel blends into the natural structure of your skin, gently filling moderate to severe etched in lines and wrinkles and creating a smooth, natural look and feel.

Dermal fillers, commonly trademarked under the names Radiesse, Restylane, and Juvederm, are commonly used to perform volume augmentation procedures of the face most typically for facial aging. Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm may be used to fill wrinkles in the smile lines around the mouth, smaller wrinkles around the oral region such as lip lines, and to fill the space below the lower eyelid (off label use) that can appear sunken or hollow as a result of facial aging. Off label use of Restylane and Juvederm may also be used for volume augmentation of the lips. Other fillers such as Radiesse, a calcium hydroxyapatite filler, are typically used for volume augmentation in the smile lines around the mouth referred to as the nasolabial folds and to add volume to the cheeks and temporal hollows (off label use).
These procedures are typically performed under local anesthesia in the office setting and can take as little as 5 to 10 minutes to perform. Off-the-shelf fillers are considered to be temporary and can last for varying durations of time depending on where they are injected. Most typically, the injections performed around the mouth last up to approximately 1 year. Injections in the cheeks may last longer, and Restylane injections into the tear troughs below the lower eyelid may last as long as 2 to 3 years or longer. There is virtually no down-time following these procedures though some patients may develop bruising and/or swelling around the eyes, or swelling around the lips. These conditions are temporary and typically resolve within several days to a week.
