What Is an Arm Lift?
In the arm lift procedure, also known as an arm tuck or brachioplasty, Dr. Mark Mofid removes the excess skin and fat that contribute to a flabby appearance from the upper arms. The incision is made along the back of the upper arm so that any post-surgical marks are well hidden. Once the excess tissue has been removed, the remaining tissue is tightly stretched over the underlying arm muscles and the incision is sutured closed to give the area a tight and toned appearance.
Recovering from an Arm Lift
An arm lift is a surgical procedure that involves making incisions along the upper arms. Some swelling and bruising are to be expected around the upper arms. Drains may be placed in the area to manage any fluid build-up that may occur. A compression garment may need to be worn to help manage swelling. Our team will provide you with post-operative instructions to make the recovery process easier.
