Treating Excessive Underarm Sweating

Published on May 30, 2011

Everyone sweats, but for people with Axillary Hyperhidrosis it can become a rather embarrassing act. Axillary Hyperhidrosis is an overproduction of underarm sweat. If you are experiencing more underarm sweat than normal and are having a hard time living with this often humiliating condition, you may be a good candidate for a surgical or non-surgical treatment.

Dr. Mofid offers Botox treatments to treat this condition as well as outpatient surgical procedures which involve removing sweat glands from the underarms. This surgical procedure can be done under local or general anesthesia in an outpatient surgery facility and patients can return to work the next day. If you would like to learn more about how to treat excessive underarm sweating or to schedule a consultation with Dr. Mark Mofid we invite you to contact our offices.
