59 year old patient from san Diego came in to see Dr. Mofid regarding reconstruction after a right breast mastectomy and radiation. Dr. Mofid performed a right latissimus dorsi muscle flap breast reconstruction and placement of tissue expander. Once the breast had been expanded to the desired size, Dr. Mofid removed the right breast tissue expander and replacement with silicone implant. At the same time Dr. Mofid also performed a left breast reduction to match the breast in size. During the last stage of reconstruction a right nipple areola complex reconstruction was completed with skate flap and donor full thickness skin graft from right inner thigh.
