50 year old patient from San Diego, came in to see Dr. Mofid for immediate breast reconstruction following a right breast mastectomy. Dr. Mofid performed a right breast reconstruction with tissue expanders and Veritas. At the second stage of surgery, once the tissue expander had reached the desired size, it was replaced with a silicone implant. A left breast augmentation was also performed to create symmetry of size and shape. During the last stage of reconstruction a nipple areola complex was created.
