43 year old patient from San Diego was referred to Dr. Mofid for breast reconstruction surgery. After being diagnosed with Breast cancer in her right breast, her first surgery was breast reconstruction of her right breast. Instead of using breast implants, Dr. Mofid used muscle and tissue from her abdomen to create a new right breast. A year later, Dr. Mofid continued the reconstruction process by performing a left breast mastopexy (breast lift) in order to create symmetry between her breasts. Finally, Dr. Mofid finished her reconstructive process by creating a nipple for her right breast using donor skin from her inner thigh.
