After being diagnosed with Breast Cancer, 38 year old patient from Rancho Bernardo was referred to Dr. Mofid by her primary doctor for breast reconstructive surgery. For her initial surgery, Dr. Mofid performed bilateral breast reconstructive surgery with placement of tissue expanders. Seven months later, Dr. Mofid continued the breast reconstructive process with a bilateral removal of tissue expanders and placement of silicone implants. A few months later, Dr. Mofid completed the reconstructive process with a bilateral nipple areola reconstruction with skate flaps, using full thickness skin grafts from the patient’s inner thighs.
