67 year old patient from Calexico was referred to Dr. Mofid by her primary doctor for breast reconstruction surgery after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr. Mofid began her reconstructive process with left breast reconstruction using a tissue expander to stretch her skin and prepare it for the placement of an implant. About eight months later, Dr. Mofid completed the process by removing her left tissue expander and replacing it with a silicone implant. In order to create symmetry between her breasts, Dr. Mofid also performed a right breast lift and augmentation using a silicone implant.
